Opening Innovation Museum
On July 10, 2025, the Innovation Team of the City of Amsterdam officially opened the doors to the Innovation Museum – a festive moment marking a decade of work at the intersection of social and technological innovation.
The exhibition reflects the iterative, collaborative, and ever-evolving nature of innovation. It combines structure with playful elements, while offering space for reflection, awareness, and public interaction.
Two projects from Responsible Sensing Lab are highlighted in the exhibition: Shuttercam and the Pilot Sound Sensing at the Marineterrein. Both pilot setups are also physically accessible and can be visited on-site.

Shuttercam Publieksonderzoek
Bij de ingang van het AMS Instituut op het Marineterrein experimenteert het Responsible Sensing Lab met de Shuttercam. Dit is een privacy vriendelijke camera voor druktemetingen (ook wel crowdmonitoring genoemd) tijdens evenementen of drukke piekmomenten, zoals bijvoorbeeld op zeer zonnige dagen op het Marineterrein.
Pilot stadsgeluid
Het project Listening to our Cities van het Responsible Sensing Lab onderzoekt het effect van geluid op de stedelijke leefomgeving. De testopstelling op het Marineterrein helpt om de nauwkeurigheid van de sensoren verder te verbeteren.
